I’ve been at a screen all day
Enough to make me scream all day.
Too hemmed in
Too penned in.
Fixed body pose with minimal movement
Eyes addicted to the next word or picture
Driven by the ‘must just finish this.’
Addiction.
You don’t have sympathy with the smoker
the injector, the drinker
But you share addiction.
Go free!
Radically cut the power,
Switch it off.
Leave it.
