The Journey Begins

I am just starting to blog some poetry and wonder if I can write a poem a day. I have no idea if I am able to because how do you gauge untested talent and how do I know if I have the discipline to try to test it? I stand inspired by the Wharfedale Poets who performed at the Ilkley Literature Festival a week or two ago. So if the expression is a jumble and naive and incomprehensible I  hope you feedback your thoughts to me. Actually, my biggest request is  honest feedback, in a world where criticism can come forcibly and readily and praise and thanks may be slower. Be very very slow if you need to be. So I thank the Wharfedale Poets and the Ilkley Literature Festival for inspiring a few moments of play.
